At Clark and North Avenue, the museum's Georgian-style building faces the southern end of Lincoln Park, which gives the whole thing a civic weight most rental spaces cannot manufacture. The Chicago Room is the dedicated wedding space, lit by a crystal chandelier, with the Sanger P. Robinson Gallery and an outdoor plaza handling ceremonies, cocktails and portraits. The range here is unusually wide — the events team quotes anything from a dinner of ten to a reception of 1,500 — so it works for a small evening as readily as a full buyout.
