Can I use my Zola RSVP with a different wedding invitation?
Yes. Many couples keep their wedding website and guest list on Zola, The Knot or Joy but want an invitation that feels like opening a real envelope. The two work together through a link: the invitation carries the design, date, venue and story, and its RSVP button sends guests to the reply page you already use. Your guest list, meal choices and headcount stay in that one place.
How to add an RSVP link to a digital invitation
It takes about a minute, and you can change it at any time, including after you publish.
- ✦Open your RSVP page on Zola, The Knot, Joy or your form, and copy its address
- ✦In the Wedvite editor, open the RSVP section and choose “Link to my RSVP page”
- ✦Paste the link — the editor shows the site guests will open, so you can check it
- ✦Edit the button text and the line above it if you like (“RSVP by 1 May”)
- ✦Tap Preview, open the envelope and press the button once, as a guest would
Which RSVP pages work?
Any page that opens in a normal web browser. Wedvite only links to it, so the reply form, the questions and the guest list are managed on that site.

Built-in RSVP or an external link: which should you choose?
Use the link when your replies already live somewhere else, especially if a planner reads them there or you have collected answers already. Use Wedvite’s built-in RSVP when you want guests to do everything in one place: they reply inside the invitation, you set the questions (attendance, guest names, meals, dietary needs, transport, song requests) and replies arrive in your Wedvite guest list. What you should avoid is running both at once, because two forms feed two different lists.

Test the link before you send the invitation
Open the invitation on your own phone, tap RSVP and make sure the page loads without asking guests to sign in. Some providers hide an RSVP page until the website is published or set to public, so check it from a private browser window too.

No. The RSVP button links to your page on that site, and the replies stay there. If you want replies collected inside the invitation, switch to Wedvite’s built-in RSVP.
Can I change the RSVP link after the invitation is sent?+
Yes. Update it in the RSVP settings and the invitation shows the new link immediately; guests keep using the same invitation link.
Can I change what the RSVP button says?+
Yes. The button text and the line above it are editable, so you can write “Reply by 1 May” or use the invitation’s other language.
Is the RSVP link free?+
Adding a link is included in every Wedvite invitation, in the free preview and after you publish.
What happens if I haven’t pasted a link yet?+
The invitation shows the message form instead, so guests never see a button that goes nowhere.
