Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Wedvite, a digital wedding-invitation service at wedvite.net. By creating a draft, publishing an invitation, or paying for any service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions: [email protected].

2. The service

Wedvite lets you design, personalise, publish, and host a digital wedding invitation, with optional add-ons (custom music, a wax-seal design, additional languages, and an AI venue illustration). We provide a live editor, a hosted invitation page, a guest RSVP and best-wishes dashboard, and shareable links and QR codes.

3. Pricing & payment

• One-time payment.The base invitation is a single one-time charge (USD $89 at the time of writing). No subscriptions, no annual renewals, no per-guest fees.
• Add-ons are optional and priced à-la-carte: custom music (+$10), wax seal (+$15), AI venue sketch (+$15), and additional languages — your first language is included free and each additional language is +$10 (up to 12 supported languages).
• Processing. Payments are collected by our payment processor, Polar (paddle/merchant of record). Prices are shown in USD; Polar may present and charge in your local currency, and handles applicable taxes/VAT. You will receive an invoice from Polar.
• Drafting is free. You only pay when you choose to publish.

4. Refunds

We offer a refund within 7 days of publishing, no questions asked. Request one by emailing [email protected] from the address on your order, or through your share dashboard. Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Polar. After 7 days, or once a custom add-on (wax seal / venue sketch) has been produced, that portion is non-refundable.

5. Your content & licence

You retain ownership of everything you provide — names, photos, text, and media (“Your Content”). By uploading it, you grant Wedvite a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely to build, host, and deliver your invitation. You confirm you have the right to use Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. You can request deletion at any time — see our data-deletion page.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Wedvite to:

• upload unlawful, infringing, hateful, or deceptive content;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent an event;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service;
• resell or redistribute the service or templates as your own.

We may suspend or remove any invitation that violates these Terms.

7. Hosting & availability

Your published invitation is hosted at wedvite.net/<your-slug> through your wedding date plus at least 90 days, so guests can revisit it. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service and may perform maintenance. We will not unpublish your invitation except on your request or for a Terms violation.

8. Our intellectual property

The Wedvite templates, designs, animations, software, and brand are owned by Wedvite and licensed to you for use within your own invitation only. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of the underlying templates or platform to you.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wedvite is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the invitation in question. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the maximum extent permitted.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent change; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
