Practical guidance by Wedvite ·
A free start to your wedding invitations.
Start with the job your guests need to do. If it is ‘keep this date free’, a free Save the Date is enough. If it is ‘tell us who is coming’, choose the full paid invitation. Wedvite’s free product is an announcement—not a free RSVP service.
Free static Save the Date · No RSVP. Full invitation with RSVP available as a paid upgrade.
No credit card. Unlimited guests. Hosted through your wedding date and at least 90 days afterwards. Optional extras cost more.

Free to design is not always free to send
Before investing time in any invitation maker, check what happens after the editor. Can you publish without paying? Can your whole guest list open it? Are replies included, or only a preview? On Wedvite, the static Save the Date can be personalized, published and shared free, without a credit card.
- Included: names, confirmed date, optional location and calendar links.
- Included: an editable published link and a downloadable announcement image.
- Unlimited guests on the free announcement; no per-guest charge.
Choose by your next deadline, not the longest feature list
If the date is settled but the timetable is not, send the announcement and leave the finer details for later. If the caterer needs numbers or the wedding is close, skip the preliminary announcement and make the full invitation. You do not have to create the free product first.
- Date announcement now: choose free Save the Date.
- Attendance, guest counts and dietary answers: choose a paid full invitation with RSVP.
- Optional extras: review their prices before selecting them; free publication remains available.
One useful link is better than several unfinished drafts
Check your names, date and guest-facing link before sharing. Keep the editing link private. If you later upgrade, follow the editor’s review and publication steps; choosing an upgrade is not the same as paying for or publishing it. Your free announcement is hosted through the wedding date and for at least 90 days afterwards.
Picture your announcement

Your questions, answered
Are Wedvite’s full wedding invitations free?
No. The free product is a static Save the Date announcement. The full invitation with RSVP is a paid upgrade or a direct paid purchase.
Can I keep using only the free version?
Yes. You can publish and share the free announcement without buying the full invitation. Optional upgrades are not required to keep it free.
Will a free page automatically collect replies?
No. A visit, calendar save or message reply is not an RSVP recorded in Wedvite. RSVP collection belongs to the published paid invitation.
