Wedding invitations when different guests attend different events
Plan ceremony, dinner and evening guest lists without unclear invitation wording or accidentally sharing restricted event details.
Make an event-by-event guest list before choosing invitation wording. Each recipient needs an unambiguous date, arrival time and list of the events they are invited to. Do not assume that hiding an event title in your message also hides it on a shared invitation page.
Map households to events
Use a simple table with one row per invited person and a column for each event. A household may contain guests with different roles or schedules, so check the actual names rather than copying a family label across every column. Decide who can bring a partner and whether children are included before sending the invitation.
The embedded Toscana sample is public and in English. It is not a customer invitation.
Verify the invitation each group receives
If your invitation setup cannot restrict events by recipient, use clearly separate invitations or another explicitly verified arrangement. A public link should contain only details appropriate for everyone who may receive it. Open each version as a guest, without an editor session, and confirm the arrival time and RSVP scope. Keep separate event counts even when replies share a master planning sheet.
Before you send
- ✓ Named guests assigned to each event
- ✓ Different arrival times written explicitly
- ✓ Each shared page checked without editor access
- ✓ Replies reconciled per event

Questions and answers
Can I use one link for everyone?
Only if everyone may see all the information on it and understands their invitation. Do not rely on a personalised message to protect details available on the linked page.
Does this guide promise guest-specific access in Wedvite?
No. Check the actual capabilities of your chosen setup. This is a planning workflow, not a claim that a general invitation link enforces separate event permissions.
