What travel details belong in a destination wedding invitation?
Build a useful destination wedding travel section with arrival times, venue entrances, transport notes and clearly separated optional plans.
Give guests the confirmed wedding location and arrival time first, then practical transport and accommodation information. Separate booked arrangements from suggestions. Guests should be able to tell what you provide, what they arrange themselves and whom to contact with a question.
Lead with the journey guests actually make
An airport name alone rarely gets someone to the ceremony. Include the full venue address, the correct entrance, parking or drop-off notes and any confirmed shuttle pickup. Write event times in the destination’s local time. Ask the venue to verify access details instead of guessing from a map pin or an old review.
The embedded Toscana sample is public and in English. It is not a customer invitation.
Keep suggestions distinct from promises
Label hotel suggestions as suggestions unless rooms are genuinely reserved. If you have a room block, confirm its booking deadline and conditions with the hotel before publishing them. Explain whether a welcome meal or next-day activity is optional. For border or travel requirements, send guests to current official sources for their own nationality; do not turn an invitation into universal travel advice.

Questions and answers
Should I put everything in the first WhatsApp message?
Keep the personal message short and link to the invitation’s practical details. Important changes still deserve a direct message; guests may not revisit a silently updated page.
Can I list a shuttle before it is booked?
Only as an unconfirmed plan, clearly labelled. Do not give guests a pickup time or promise a seat until the arrangement has been confirmed.
