Villa Sassi
Seventeenth-century villaSassi, on Turin's eastern hillSalone d'Oriente: 250; Salone di Mezzogiorno and Quadreria: 200
At the Sassi edge of Turin's first hill, this early-17th-century residence joins a 22-hectare park to interiors deliberately updated with Italian design and art installations. The 230-square-metre Salone d'Oriente opens to a covered portico, while the Salone di Mezzogiorno and Quadreria retain older doors, chandeliers and gilded details. Wedding planning and catering are handled by the venue, and the substantial indoor rooms give an actual alternative to the lawns when the weather changes.
