Digital wedding invitation with a wax seal of your initials
Written by the Wedvite founders
Every Wedvite invitation opens from an animated envelope; the free envelopes close with a gold-leaf clasp. For $15 we replace it with a wax seal pressed with your own initials or monogram: type the letters, in English or Arabic, or upload a logo. It is made after you order and added to your envelope.
Wedvite's list price is $89. This code brings it to $49, applied automatically at checkout:

What your wax seal can carry
Your initials in calligraphy
Type just the letters and we set them in a calligraphy script, Latin or Arabic, then press them into the wax of your seal.
Or your own monogram
Upload a monogram, a crest or a drawing you already use, and we press that design into the wax.
English or Arabic letters
The initials can be Latin or Arabic, so a bilingual couple's seal matches the invitation it closes.
The seal opens with the envelope
The seal is part of the envelope's opening film, so guests see your initials first and then watch the envelope open.
See it →What does a wax seal look like on a digital invitation?
It sits where it would on paper: on the closed envelope, the first thing a guest sees when the link opens. The envelope is a short film rather than a still picture, so when the guest taps it the envelope opens, your invitation appears and the music starts. With a custom seal, your own initials or monogram are pressed into that wax, so the very first image of your wedding a guest sees is yours rather than a stock emblem.
Every design starts from this envelope, and the envelope colour is a separate, free choice made in the editor's look settings. Pick the envelope first, then decide how it closes: keep the free gold-leaf clasp, or replace it with your own wax seal carrying your initials or monogram. The seal travels with the envelope you chose, so the colours you picked stay the same.
How is a custom wax seal made?
In the editor, open the wax seal choice and switch from the ready design to your initials or logo. Either type the letters, choosing English or Arabic, or upload an image of a monogram or crest you already use. There is no instant preview, because the seal is made for you after you order, from what you give us.
After you order, we make it for you: typed initials are set in a calligraphy script (Latin or Arabic) and pressed into the wax, then the seal is rendered into your envelope's opening and put on your invitation. An uploaded monogram is the design we follow, so send the cleanest version you have, ideally dark lines on a plain background. Two or three letters read best at the size of a seal; a long name or a detailed crest loses its fine lines in wax.
What does the custom wax seal cost?
The custom seal is an add-on at $15, on top of the invitation at $49, paid once. The free envelopes close with a gold-leaf clasp at no cost; the add-on is for a wax seal with your initials or monogram. There is no charge per guest who opens the envelope, and no subscription to keep the seal on your invitation while it is hosted.
The seal is chosen in the editor and paid for with the invitation, along with any other extras such as your own song or a venue sketch. Each add-on is separate, so you can take the seal on its own. The link works and can be shared from the moment you order, showing the free clasp until then, and your seal is added to the same link once it is made.
