Both are free. Zola's website is free for unlimited guests, with RSVP, and its only named exception is a custom domain, from $17.99 a year, forwarding-only. Minted's free website includes multiple layouts, event RSVPs, gift registries, maps and a wedding party page; its custom URL is $15 a year, and an original-artwork site starts at $270.

How do their save the dates and paper compare?
Zola offers 1,895 free digital save-the-date designs and printed save the dates from $0.99 each, with printed invitations from $1.79 (Petite) or $1.99 in the default Classic size. Our sheet does not record Minted's paper or save-the-date prices, so those are not verified on 15 September 2026; check Minted's shop before you order.
Does either animate an envelope or send by WhatsApp?
No to both. Zola's only motion is a design-animation toggle on digital save-the-date drafts; Minted's online invitation is a single static page. Zola leaves sharing to you by link, text, email or QR code, and Minted sends by email or a copied link. A link pasted into WhatsApp works for either, but neither runs a WhatsApp channel.
