A simple, one-page wedding website guests open from one link
Written by the Wedvite founders
A simple wedding website here is a single page: your names and date, the venue with a map, the order of the day and an RSVP form, opened from one link that guests tap without an account. Four steps get it ready to share. Design it free, then pay $49 once, with no subscription and no per-guest charge.
Wedvite's list price is $89. This code brings it to $49, applied automatically at checkout:

Tap to open the live invitation
Simple for you to set up, complete for your guests
Four questions, then it is ready
The builder asks one thing at a time over the live page: who is getting married, when, where, and an optional photo. Everything else already has sample wording.
RSVP that asks only what you need
Choose a message-only reply, a short RSVP, a full form with meals and named guests, or one button that opens an RSVP page you already run elsewhere.
See it →Directions in one tap
Paste the venue's Google Maps share link. Guests see the map on the page and a button that opens it in their own maps app.
See it →Nothing for guests to sign up for
The page opens in any phone browser from WhatsApp, a text or an email. No app, no login, no password to forward.

Competitor prices and features were read from the official pages on 15 September 2026: Zola, The Knot, Joy (withjoy.com). A cell reading "not verified on 15 September 2026" means the vendor's page did not state that figure on that date, so we leave it out rather than guess. Competitor prices are in US dollars; Wedvite's row is our own price in your currency. Prices change; confirm on the vendor's page before you buy.
Four steps from a blank draft to a link you can send
Pick a design
Open the design picker, tap any design to see its live demo, and start from the one you like. The draft opens with sample wording in every section, so nothing starts empty.
Add names, date and venue
Answer the builder's cards: your two first names, the date and start time, then the venue with a map link or address. A photo of you two is optional at this stage.
Turn on the RSVP you want
Tap the RSVP section and choose how guests should reply. Switch off any field you do not need, such as meal choice or a song request, and set a reply deadline if you want one.
Preview, then share the link
See it exactly as a guest will on a phone, then share it free with your first 10 guests or publish for everyone for $49. Copy the link or send it straight to WhatsApp.
What does a one-page wedding website need?
Less than most builders suggest. Guests open a wedding website to answer four questions: when is it, where is it, what happens when, and how do I reply. A one-page site that answers those clearly, in that order, does the job better than six tabs of planning content that guests never click. Everything else, from your story to the photo gallery, is welcome but optional.
Our designs keep each answer in its own section on one scrolling page, and you can hide anything you do not need. A small wedding might keep only the names, the venue and the RSVP; a larger one might add the schedule, the dress code, a gifts note and a few photos. Hidden sections stay in the draft, so you can bring one back later without rewriting it.
- ✦Names and the date
- ✦Venue, address and map
- ✦Order of the day with times
- ✦RSVP with a deadline
- ✦Dress code, if there is one
- ✦Gifts note or bank details
Does simple mean bare?
No. One page is about how much guests have to read, not about how it looks. The site opens with a sealed envelope guests tap, your names appear on the first screen, and a countdown runs to the date. The map is embedded rather than linked off to a PDF, and the photos sit in a gallery guests can swipe without leaving the page.
If you want more, two extras change the feel the most: your own song playing while guests read, for $10, set up from a YouTube, SoundCloud or TikTok link, and a wax seal pressed with your initials on the envelope, for $15. Neither adds a step for your guests; they still tap one link and scroll, and you can add or skip either one before you publish.
When is a full website builder the better choice?
When you need things a single invitation page does not do. Zola, The Knot and Joy build free wedding websites alongside their planning tools, Joy's free plan includes a registry, and each sells a custom domain as a yearly extra. If a registry on the site, your own web address or a password-protected page is essential, one of those builders fits you better, and we would rather say so here.
Many couples use both. They keep the registry and guest list on a builder, then send our invitation as the thing guests actually open. The RSVP section can be set to a single button that opens the RSVP page you already run elsewhere, so replies stay in one place and guests still get the envelope, the map and the schedule first.
What does a simple wedding website cost, and how long is it online?
Building it costs nothing: you can write every section, add a few photos while drafting and share the link with your first 10 guests without paying. Publishing for unlimited guests is $49, once. That price includes the RSVP form, the reply page, the map, the envelope and edits after sending, and it does not rise when the guest list grows.
After publishing, the gallery opens up to its full size and the site stays live through your wedding date and at least 90 days after. There is no monthly plan to cancel and no renewal to remember, which is the part couples choosing a simple site usually care about most. You also keep editing the same page the whole time, so a late change of start time is a quick fix rather than a new mailing to every guest.
