Digital marriage invitation for every function and every family
Written by the Wedvite founders
A digital marriage invitation is one link you send on WhatsApp to family at home and abroad, with every function on a single schedule: mehndi, sangeet, nikah, walima, reception. Guests reply on the invitation, and you can add a second language such as Arabic. Wedvite is $49 once for unlimited guests, so a large family list costs no more.
Wedvite's list price is $89. This code brings it to $49, applied automatically at checkout:

What a family marriage invitation needs
Every function on one link
Each event gets its own row with a time and a line of detail, from the mehndi to the reception.
See it →Sent on WhatsApp
Share the link to family groups in a tap; it opens with a preview card, and relatives abroad have it the same minute.
See it →Both families named
A families section names the parents on both sides, as a marriage invitation traditionally does.
See it →A venue for each function
Add each hall, home or mosque as its own location, with a button that opens it in Google Maps.
See it →Replies for a long list
Guests reply by name, and you export the list as a spreadsheet for the caterer and the seating plan.
See it →What is a digital marriage invitation?
It is the marriage invitation card, sent as a link instead of printed and posted. Guests open it on their phones, tap an envelope, and see the couple's names, both families, each function with its time and place, and a form to reply. For families spread across countries, it reaches everyone on the same day, and nobody waits for the post or a courier.
Unlike an image file forwarded from chat to chat, the invitation is a page that keeps working after you send it. Change a time and everyone who opens the link sees the new one; read replies as they arrive instead of counting messages. It is $49 once, for as many relatives as you invite, with no charge per guest, so the aunt who adds a dozen names at the last minute costs you nothing.
Can one link hold the mehndi, sangeet, nikah, walima and reception?
Yes. The schedule is a list of rows, each with its own time, title and a line of detail, so a three-day celebration fits on one invitation. Put each function's day and dress code in its detail line, and add each venue as a location with its own map. Guests then see the whole celebration in order instead of collecting several cards.
If different guests are invited to different functions, for example a smaller mehndi for close family, it is clearer to send that function on its own invitation. Replies on one invitation are not split by event, so a separate link gives you a separate headcount. Our pages on mehndi, sangeet and haldi invitations and on Indian wedding invitations cover each function in more detail.
Which languages can a marriage invitation be in?
Wedvite offers 11 invitation languages: English, Arabic, Spanish, Italian, German, French, Portuguese, Dutch, Catalan, Galician and Swedish. Your first language is free and each extra one is $10. Guests switch language at the top of the invitation, and Arabic is set right-to-left automatically. English with Arabic is served in full, schedule rows included; with two non-Arabic languages the schedule rows share one text.
Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati and Bengali are not offered, and we would rather say so here than let you find out in the editor. If most of your guests read one of those languages, a service that offers it will serve them better. If they read English, or English and Arabic, every part of the invitation works in full, from the schedule to the RSVP form, and you can see it for yourself in the demo before you start.
How do you send a marriage invitation to family abroad?
Send it yourself, from your own phone. Post the link in the family WhatsApp groups, message it to elders one by one with a personal line, and email it to anyone who prefers email. The link opens in any phone browser in any country, with nothing to install, and the preview card in WhatsApp shows the invitation before anyone taps it.
For elders who prefer paper, print the invitation's QR code on a simple card or hand it over in person; scanning it opens the full invitation. Because the link never changes, a relative who receives it late, or forwards it to someone you forgot, always sees the current details rather than an old copy. That matters most in the final week, when hall times and parking notes tend to change.
