Is Partiful good for weddings?
For some weddings, yes. Partiful markets wedding invitations, save the dates and engagement parties as a category and presents its event page as a free wedding website. Everything a host needs to gather people costs nothing: invitations, RSVP tracking, reminders and text blasts, with no plan to buy and, in Partiful's words, no premium tier.
The limits show on a formal day. Every event link sits on partiful.com/e/, so there is no custom domain. Partiful's pages do not say whether guests see advertising, and our sheet could not confirm an envelope animation either, so both cells read "not verified on 15 September 2026". For welcome drinks or a small, casual ceremony those may not matter.
What does Evite cost for a wedding?
Nothing if you accept ads: Evite's free-labelled designs support up to 750 guests and show ads to guests. Premium is a one-off package per event, sized by the guest list: Silver $17.99 (12 guests), Gold $36.99 (30), Platinum $68.99 (75) and Diamond $99.99 (750). Evite Pro, $249.99 a year, covers unlimited Premium invitations for people who host often.
How do they compare for 100 guests?
Partiful: nothing, since it publishes no guest-count paywall. Evite: nothing on a free design with ads, or $99.99 for Diamond, the cheapest Premium package above Platinum's 75-guest cap. Wedvite: $89 once, the same at 100 guests or 400. The only paid item Partiful documents is optional ticket sales (≈ 12% service fee per ticket), which a wedding does not need.
Which sends by text and WhatsApp?
Partiful: text, email, WhatsApp and a shareable link are all part of the free product. Evite: email, native texts to US and Canadian numbers, and a shareable link that Evite's help centre says works for WhatsApp, with the catch that link guests stay off your guest list until they RSVP and you lose read receipts.

Evite, if you pay: Premium unlocks envelopes with colour, stamp and liner, reveal effects and guest names on the envelope. A free Evite has none of these and carries ads. Partiful uses its own event-page style, and whether it animates an envelope is not verified on 15 September 2026.
