Baroque palaceNeuhausen-NymphenburgJohannissaal up to 90 guests; Hubertussaal 220 at a banquet
The Wittelsbachs' summer palace lets its northern Orangerie wing, and the Hubertussaal was the dynasty's own banqueting and theatre hall before the trakt opened as an event space in 2003. Three rooms make up the ensemble: the Hubertussaal at 360 m², seating 220 at a banquet or 400 in concert rows; the ground-floor Orangeriesaal at 172 m², a 25-metre run built to overwinter 250 citrus trees, taking up to 170; and the Johannissaal, 126 m² and good for 90. Only the Johannissaal is currently bookable, since the other two are shut for renovation until the end of 2026 — and it doubles as a room where a Munich registrar performs legally binding ceremonies, for which the palace administration charges €400 (€450 for a celebrant-led freie Trauung) against €750 for a regular full-day hire. Nothing is included beyond the room, so caterer, florist and technician all come in from outside.
